Requirements:

• 1. Corn (Candidate must show CORN experience on their resume); 2. Energy; 3. Procurement; 4. Risk.
• At least 5 years with same employer.

• Must have a minimum 10 years experience in Agriculture and Energy related procurement including Corn procurement experience, Hedging experience, and high level management experience.

• Direct experience in developing/executing grain procurement and hedging. strategies.
• Experience in developing/executing energy procurement and hedging strategies.

• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledgeable in capital purchasing, chemical purchasing, and supplier contracts.
• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or Math (MBA a plus).

Job Duties:

Position reports to President/CEO. Four direct and 24 indirect reports.  Responsibility of managing the Supply Side division of this privately held company. Will lead/manage cross-functional teams involving representations from Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales, including the Net Corn Strategy and Energy Strategy teams. The incumbent will work closely with external constituencies, including brokers, traders, consultants, utility companies and commodity exchanges to manage and execute company strategies and program. Execute purchases and derivative hedges to support strategies. Develop, communicate and gain approval for justifiable commodity budgets. Interact with division leads to ensure that financial, quality and service goals are met. Manage and facilitate interaction with appropriate suppliers. Monitor and report on appropriate financial, quality and service measures.
