Job Duties:

Client is seeking a Director of Information Systems and Technology for their Corporate Office location. Position reports directly to the CFO of the company. Ideal candidate will have a stable and progressive background in the implementation and management of an ERP program in a complex manufacturing environment. Selected candidate must be experienced in system conversion, implementation and strategic planning initiatives. Competent knowledge and experience with JD Edwards ERP Systems; Business Intelligence Solutions; Business Objects; Cognos; and CRM would be highly desirable. A strong track record in researching, planning, developing and implementing an application roadmap utilizing a broader IT perspective that encompasses mainframe, midrange, LAN, WAN, desktop and web platforms is desired. Additionally, selected candidate will manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and the application of lifecycle planning discipline to all IT efforts to ensure the planned development of new technologies. A key responsibility will be to create and implement information technology strategy; formulate and deploy long-term strategic IT plans; manage the day-to-day operations of the IT Department; provide progress reports on a weekly basis and communicate regularly with the management team to establish IT strategy, goals, and priorities.
