Requirements:

·        Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting;

·        Must be Spanish / English proficient;

·        5+ years work experience as Auditor (public accounting experience preferred);

·        Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation;

·        60% travel required;

·        Desired Computer Skills: SAP, ACL, MS Excel, Word, and Power Point knowledge.

Job Duties:

This position is responsible for planning, conducting and supervising complex/sensitive financial and operational audits to determine and evaluate effectiveness of the control structure and efficiency of operating processes. It develops and communicates recommendations for improvement, and performs and supervises special reviews and projects at the request of management. It will also evaluate risk and develop an audit plan for the Americas. It will receive input for the audit plan, but develop the plan independently.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Evaluate corporate-wide risk in order to assist Vice President and Treasurer and Internal Audit Director with the development of the annual audit plan.
• Conduct and supervise audits including the review and evaluation of controls, assessment of risk, identification of control enhancements and process improvements.
• Communicate audit results to senior management and track implementation of recommendations. Perform and supervise special projects as requested by management.
• Provide accounting, audit, and information technology assistance to audit staff.
