Requirements:

·        BS or MS Chemical Engineering

·        Min 5 years of FCC or hydroprocessing experience in operations, technical support and catalyst evaluation

·        Technical familiarity with FCC or hydroprocessing flow schemes and technologies required

·        40% travel required

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential

·        Well developed analytical skills with particular focus on process and kinetic modeling desired

·        Fluency in Spanish or French desirable

Job Duties:

This is an excellent position for the refinery process engineer who wants to get more into the people aspect of the refining business. Our client is seeking a Chemical Engineer to work in marketing and technical support for a very solid hydroprocessing and FCC catalyst business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to petroleum refining customers to maintain business; analysis and optimization of catalyst, technical service reports, product specifications, conducting seminars
• Prepare yield projections and customer presentations of a technical nature to gain new business
• Generate, improve and maintain technical service tools, model, reference lists, presentations, catalyst comparisons
• Assist in developing market data on current and potential customers
• Remain current on technical trends in market segments
• Assist global partners in achieving technical goals for business
