Requirements:

·        An Information Systems related degree is required, as well as a master-level skill in the design and implementation of Windows Active Directory;

·        The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in an IBM mainframe and AIX environment;

·        The ideal candidate will have had extensive experience in design and use of Windows Server technologies in large global enterprise environments;

·        Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical subjects to non technical audiences;

·        A strong ability to clearly document system design elements including use of appropriate documentation tools;

·        Knowledge and experience with NetApp, TSM, Backup and Recovery experience, Backup Execution, and experience with Intel Boxes;

·        Experience and understanding of Storage area Networks (SAN), Network attached storage (NAS) are also required.

Job Duties:

A Forutne 500 company in southwestern Michigan has an opening for a Sr. Storage Analyst in its Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical supervision and maintenance of the storage requirements of the computer systems. As the Systems Senior Analyst and Subject Matter Expert in Windows Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of the Windows server environment globally, including the global Active Directory and both data center and field Windows Server implementations. You will work with the global infrastructure sourcing partner to design, plan, and implement improvements and upgrades to the global Windows Server environment, as well as with other company groups and business partners to design Windows components of application development and other project utilizing the Windows environment . Some domestic and international travel is required. Duties require working extended hours or weekends as necessary.
